ETH Library Idea Contests

Sleep and review (part 2)

The other idea is to allow students to review literature they have used. A short impression or experience of the material could save a lot of time for others. These reviews could be somewhere online so that using a phone app we could decide weather to take a book right away, standing by the shelf.

Hi Jovan Blagojević, thank you for entering these two interesting ideas! After the idea submission phase, each idea/post will be evaluated separately based on predefined criteria (see FAQ). This evaluation will also be conducted on the idea platform. Therefore, I would recommend to create one post per idea. Editing own posts is quite easy, see https://help.crowdicity.com/article/399-editing-your-idea for more information.

Hello Jovan Blagojević - many thanks for your idea about reviews. May I ask a few questions regarding your idea:
- how would an ideal review be structured? Free text of a limited length? Or more structured?
- where would the review be displayed? In the detail view of a document?
- should a search also encompass the contents of reviews?
- would you take time and write reviews on books/documents you have used? what would be incentives for users to write reviews?

Hi Jovan Blagojević, for your information only: I have just splitted up your idea post. Due to the evaluation process, each post can only consist of one idea. The other part of the post can now be found at: https://ethlibrary.crowdicity.com/post/682410?forPhase=22654
